To show you Food Crickets does more than food, today I would like to write about Gloss Mountain. Gloss Mountain is a state park to the west of Enid and contains, true to the name, a mountain covered in shiny selenite. The climb up the mountain is fairly easy and has steps. The view from up top is phenomenal and allows you to see all the beauty of Red Carpet Country. There are also animals to be seen here as we saw plenty of vultures and a Mountain Boomer, the state reptile of Oklahoma. Here is a picture of the little guy.
