Review for Tally's Good Food Cafe!

Tally's is a landmark on Route 66 in Oklahoma, so it's on our list!

Taste-I got the Smart Bomb. It is a massive pile-up of hash browns, eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, tomatoes & cheese. Every bite is something different. It's everything you could want for breakfast smashed together. Yum!

Taste-I had the strawberry cheesecake pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy and golden with a slightly buttery taste. Creamy cheesecake spread topped each pancake. Sweet and tart strawberry sauce covered the whole thing.

Atmosphere-Tally's is the prototypical 50s diner. Red vinyl. Black and white tiles. 50s décor. Music was classic rock. Friendly vibe.

Atmosphere-Tally's has a true classic 50s diner feel with checkered floors and neon. Of course, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe and Route 66 memorabilia decorated the walls. Classic rock plays in the background.

Service-She was on the ball. She was nice and quick. Everything was handled quickly and easily. Wish more servers were like her.

Service-The waitress was friendly and prompt.

Value-Big breakfast for me, huge pancakes for Jess, boozy shakes for the both of us. Still around $30. Not bad for a whole days worth of food.

Value-You get a lot of bang for your buck here. We ordered entrees and adult shakes for under $40.

Uniqueness-Yes, it is a diner, but it has some seriously unique dishes and drinks. Don't worry, all the favorites you'd expect are here too.

Uniqueness-They offer standards, plus some out there dishes, such as the strawberry cheesecake pancakes.

Variety-Sandwiches, burgers, steaks, breakfast served all day, salads, chicken, fish and more! A little bit of everything here! Vegetarians have a few options...

Variety-Breakfast all day is a major plus. They have all you could want in a diner and then some.

Cleanliness-Nothing wrong that I could tell. Clean, but not immaculate, which is fine by me. This restaurant is far too busy to be immaculate.

Cleanliness-All seemed well here.

Sides/Drinks/Desserts-The toast was cooked just right and very buttery. The caramel corn shake with vanilla ice cream, caramel and bourbon was awesome and so smooth. Large array of lunch and dinner sides, large list of drinks and some of the best cinnamon rolls around!

Sides/Beverages/Desserts-I had the "Can't Say No" shake. It was chocolatey and you could tell it was alcoholic. Very good!

Story-Tally's is a landmark on Route 66. It is a place synonymous with the mother road and is always packed.

Story/History-Tally's has been around forever. It's a landmark on 66.

Presentation-Drinks come out in jar-like cups. Food is served on large. brightly colored plates. Food always looks good and tastes good.

Presentation-It's diner food so it ain't fancy, but just looking at your food will make you drool.

If you ever find yourself on Route 66, there is no place more iconic than Tally's!
