It's not hard being a food cricket! Our main goal is to help introduce people to some of the best independent and local restaurants, in order to get them away from the big chains. Food should be fun, unique and delicious, and that is what we are after!

Review for Eskimo Joe's!

Eskimo Joe's is one of the most famous restaurants in Oklahoma. It's only right we decided to check it out!

Taste-I had the Open Face Classic Burger with Eskimo Joe's own signature chili. The chili is savory and awesome. It makes the burger. Honestly though, I'm not here for the burger.

Taste-I got the Cowboy Classic, a hefty burger covered in Eskimo Joe's own barbecue sauce, lots of grilled onions and cheddar cheese. Burgers are good here and always leave me happy!

Atmosphere-Eskimo Joe's always feels like a big event with their big souvenir clothing shop next door and the crowds of happy eaters. Joe's is the cool place to hang out.

Atmosphere-"Stillwater's Jumpin' Little Juke Joint" is right! This place is a pilgrimage destination for Oklahoma foodies. It's two-story with an awesome vibe, awesome music selection, bars, pool tables, and a shop next door with all kinds of Eskimo Joe's merch.

Service-The waiter was attentive and we didn't have to wait too long for our appetizer. Yay!

Service-Service was alright, but not spectacular. Some extended waiting times. Server checked on other tables far more often and seemed anxious to avoid us.

Value-Joe's serves pretty big portions at a good price. If you leave hungry, you probably didn't get the cheese fries. If that's the case, for shame!

Value-For less than $40, we both got big burgers, awesome fries, drinks, and an order of Elm St. Cheese Fries big enough to be a meal. Worth every penny.

Uniqueness-No restaurant is quite like Eskimo Joe's. The food is great and they have memorable mascots; Joe and Buffy.

Uniqueness-Some awesome cheese fries, burgers, "fowl things" (chicken sandwiches) selections. Serious creativity and flair.

Variety-The menu includes burgers, salads, sandwiches, and such.

Variety-Cheese fries, salads, burgers, chicken, barbecue, Pretty diverse menu, all of it good. A few options for vegetarians.

Cleanliness-They do a good job.

Cleanliness-Clean as far as I could tell. Tables bussed quickly and no problem areas.

Sides/Beverages/Desserts-Cheese fries. Enough said but I will continue anyway! We had the Elm Street Cheese Fries, which included chicken and sweet peppered bacon. The bacon is mouth watering. The golden fries are delicious and there's ranch for dipping. The cheese fries are the star attraction here. We have driven over an hour several times just to eat some cheese fries.

Sides/Drinks/Desserts-The Elm St. Cheese Fries come with chicken and sweet peppered bacon. The sweet peppered bacon is in a class by itself and these cheese fries cannot be beat. Fries on their own are very good, salty and crunchy. Add all the toppings and you have heaven on a plate.

Story-Eskimo Joe's is a landmark in Stillwater and Oklahoma as a whole. Famous people have eaten here, even presidents. The iconic Joe's shirts are seen everywhere. I own one!

Story-Eskimo Joe's has been hoppin' for almost 50 years. It is known throughout the world by its logo and merchandise. Anyone that is ever within 100 miles of here better stop. Just ask both Presidents Bush and Python John Cleese.

Presentation-A big pile o' fries and a burger served in a basket. What else could you ask for?

Presentation-Plates are bright and colorful as are the cups. Food tends to be on the messy side, but the food always look good and makes you glad you ordered it.

DO NOT miss a chance to go to Eskimo Joe's if you are ever near Stillwater. Make sure to get the cheese fries, you won't regret it!
